Tyler Hudson
Racing has always been the through line.
Growing up in Houston, Texas, Tyler spent summers in Mississippi visiting his grandparents. His grandfather wrote weekly newspaper recaps of the local Friday and Saturday night dirt track races, and those weekends formed Tyler's love for motorsports.
After moving to Mississippi in 1996, Tyler used Papyrus' NASCAR Racing simulation as an outlet for that passion. In 2001, he and his father purchased a Ford Mustang to compete in the Mini Stock division at Jackson Motor Speedway.

From local tracks to a national stage.
Hickory Motor Speedway
Tyler and his wife, Lisa, raised the support needed to compete at Hickory Motor Speedway. Across nine races, he earned a career-best third-place finish and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Super Truck Rookie of the Year honors.
eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Champion
Years of simulation racing paid off with the series championship and more than $15,000 in cash and prizes.
PEAK finalist and a return to dirt late models
Tyler used his 2013 championship winnings to return to Crate Late Model racing in 2014. That same year, he advanced to the final three of the televised PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge. He did not continue racing on a regular schedule after the 2014 season.
Sim racing and real-world opportunities
Tyler remained active in simulation racing and took every opportunity he could to get behind the wheel of a real race car, but he was not competing on a consistent, full-time schedule.
Building the dirt late model program
Tyler returned to consistent dirt late model competition in 2022 after teaming with high school best friend David Neal, whose partnership helped launch the race team. Competing in the 602 Sportsman division, the program earned feature wins and the 2023 Jackson Motor Speedway Sportsman track championship.
Expanding into the 604 Late Model class
The team moved into the CRUSA 604 Late Model class to begin the 2024 campaign. Today, Tyler competes in both 604 Late Model and 602 Sportsman events, fighting for wins along the way.
